Meet Joi 

Originally from Dallas, Joi’s passion for animals started young. As a teenager, she offered daycare and lodging for pets in her community, planting the early seeds of what would eventually become Joi Loves’ Dogs. After moving to Georgia for high school and college, she became a vet tech and later transitioned fully into dog training upon returning to Texas—combining her deep love for animals with a calling that never let up.

Today, Joi brings over 10 years of animal care experience and 7 years of professional training expertise to the table. She holds multiple certifications, including AKC Canine Good Citizen Trainer/Evaluator, Certified Dog Training Instructor, Therapy Dog Trainer, and Certified Handler. But more than credentials, it's Joi’s passion that drives her. After surviving a traumatic dog bite at age seven, she emerged not with fear—but with empathy and purpose. That moment shaped her mission: to understand dogs deeply and to help others build that same connection.

Through Joi Loves’ Dogs, she offers more than training—she creates a space for dogs to grow, bond, and thrive through lodging, daycare, and customized training programs. Her training philosophy is simple: Training should be fun—for every mind, body, and soul involved. And her ultimate goal? Helping every client build a lasting, joyful bond with their dog.
