Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: June 1st, 2025. 

Welcome to Joi Loves’ Dogs, proudly serving Houston! By booking any service through our site, you agree to the following terms and conditions

📆 1. Payments & Booking

  • Account Required: All clients must be logged into their account to schedule any service.

  • Training & Daycare: Payment is required in full at the time of booking via credit/debit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.

  • Lodging: Payment is sent via electronic invoice after approval of your lodging request. Invoices must be paid at least 3 days before the stay begins, or approval may be withdrawn.

  • Booking Windows:

  • Training & Daycare: Bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Lodging: Lodging requests must be submitted at least 72 hours in advance.

🔁 2. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

  • Rescheduling: Training and Daycare may be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the scheduled time.

  • No-Shows: No-shows are non-refundable.

  • Refund Policy:

    • Training Packages: 50% refund only if no less than 2 sessions have been completed.

    • Daycare: Fully refundable with 24+ hours notice.

    • Lodging:

      • 100% refund with 7+ days' notice

      • 50% refund with 3–7 days' notice

      • No refund with less than 3 days' notice

🩺 3. Health & Behavior Requirements

  • Dogs must be up to date on the following vaccines:
    Rabies, Bordetella, Puppy Distemper, and have a recent fecal test on record.

  • First-time lodging or daycare guests must submit vaccination records using the Daycare Form or Lodging Request Form.

  • Clients must notify Joi of any known behavioral issues before services begin.

  • Joi reserves the right to deny or discontinue services due to incomplete health records or aggressive behavior.

🐾 4. Training Policy

  • Location: All training sessions are conducted in the client’s home. Some training plans are designed to begin in-home and transition to public settings as the dog progresses.

  • One Dog Per Plan: Each training plan is designed for one dog only. A separate plan must be purchased for additional dogs.

  • Health & Behavior Disclosure: Clients are required to disclose any known health conditions or behavioral concerns at the time of booking. This helps ensure the safety and effectiveness of the training process.

  • Homework & Participation: Daily homework and follow-through between sessions are essential to your dog’s success. Clients who do not practice outside of sessions may see limited results.

🧠 5. Program & Service Conditions

  • Training programs are non-transferable.

  • Clients are expected to participate in and complete daily training homework between sessions.

  • Joi Loves’ Dogs is not responsible for lack of results if homework and follow-up steps are not completed.

🐕 6. Excursions & Enrichment

All lodging guests enjoy daily excursions and enrichment activities to keep them happy, mentally stimulated, and well-exercised during their stay. This is a required part of our multi-night lodging care and ensures your pup has a fun, fulfilling experience.

  • Excursion Fee: $55 per week of lodging, added to the lodging invoice.

  • One-Night Waiver: For single-night stays, the excursion fee is waived.

🕒 7. Drop-Off & Pickup Policy (Lodging & Daycare)

  • Standard Drop-Off Window: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM

  • Standard Pickup Window: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

  • Clients are expected to adhere to these designated windows for all lodging and daycare services to ensure smooth operations and proper supervision of all dogs.

Early or Late Drop-Off/Pickup Fees:

If you require a drop-off or pickup outside of the standard time windows, the following additional fees apply:

  • 30 to 60 minutes early or late: $25

  • More than 60 minutes early or late: $45

These fees help accommodate the additional time and care required outside of regular operating hours.

🚫 8. Right to Refuse Service

Joi Loves’ Dogs reserves the right to refuse or cancel service at any time for reasons related to health, safety, or non-compliance with the above terms.

📸 9. Media Consent

With your consent, photos or videos of your dog may be used for social media or promotional purposes. We always aim to show your pup in their best light!
